ABOUT

K.A.leidoscope was set in motion while Christopher Cummings was doing work-study in the Nolan School of Engineering at Christian Brothers University.  As part of the program, he was apart of the team in the Electrical Engineering department that started web broadcasting sporting events and tele-classes. Chris graduated and moved to Dallas, Texas in 1998. He started volunteering for the Youth Department at The Potter's House of Dallas with the Drama and Step Teams. Chris assisted with the first production that was sponsored by the youth department. From that point on, he started working with the production team in the main church. He then began to serve as a volunteer stage manager and then lead stage manager. In March of 2010, his passion for stage and production management lead him to becoming the Production Coordinator at The Potter's House of Dallas. In this position, Chris had the opportunity to work with Executive Directors of Music and Fine Arts.

As Production Coordinator, he was responsible for managing and providing stage and production coordination leadership for events such as Woman Thou Art Loosed, ManPower, MegaFest, and God's Leading Ladies. During this time, his responsibilities included assisting the lighting director, graphics operator, and technical director with production needs and at times a backup for these positions for events. In this position, he also developed a stage management training program, working with a team of over 20 stage managers. This included the implementation of Planning Center Online for the church for all television and production support needs. The team assisted in managing the BET presents Follow The Star, Fred Hammond's Free to Worship, Kirk Franklin's Katrina Relief Concert, and special presentations for The Potter's House Music and Fine Arts Department.

While working at The Potter's House of Dallas, Chris was told that he would start a business that would complement what he was doing for The Potter's House. Out of that passion, K.A.leidoscope was the perfect name for what we do in coordinating everything from church services, concerts, and stage plays.

Chris has also been contracted as production manager for the Microsoft YouthSpark for the Dallas Area at the Irving Conventions Center.
